A resident in Melbourne’s west is unknowingly a new millionaire after purchasing one of three division one-winning tickets in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw.
The lucky Melburnian won $1.7 million in draw number 4401. However, the winning entry is unregistered, meaning there is no way for the lucky person to be contacted by officials.
The winning ticket was bought at Melton Lotto and TSG on High St.

Owner Phong Thai said it wasn’t the first time his store had sold a life-changing ticket, with a Set for Life winner purchasing a division one entry from the store last year.
Since the store opened 20 years ago, it has sold a total of 62 division one-winning tickets.
“Many of my customers call me ‘Mr Lucky’ because of how many division one-winning entries our outlet has sold,” he said.
“We hope our mystery winner comes to our outlet to check their tickets, so we can break the exciting news to them.”

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell urged any TattsLotto players in the Melton area, or anyone who might have bought a ticket from Thai’s store, to check their tickets.
“Make sure you check your ticket, which could be in your wallet, handbag, fridge door, or car glove box because the winner could be you, and you could be planning what to do with your prize too,” she said.
Hobdell said this instance was a good reminder for all players to register their tickets.
“If you scored division one your prize is secure, and we can call you immediately to let you know about the winning news,” she said.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4401 were 13, 16, 21, 29, 45 and 4. The supplementary numbers were 11 and 6.
Of the three division one-winning entries, two ticket holders were from Victoria, and one was from NSW.
